Almost at the top of Mires Beck, near the point where the path joins the
route between Birkhouse Moor and Lanty's Tarn. |

How accessible: |
The route beside Mires Beck is a little steep, but
this is compensated somewhat by it being very easy to follow. The alternative
route from Lanty's Tarn is not quite as steep, although this route is prone to
be wet under foot, and, if you're unsure, actually getting onto the correct path
may be a bit hit and miss. |
