How accessible: |
The terrain presents little problems other than its
steepness. However, the sheepfold is away from the paths in an already confusing
area of the Lake District. Those who are new to the area or are a little
uncertain with regards to navigation should attempt nothing more than a
straightforward out and back from Meal Fell.
This is not an area for the inexperienced to wander about while the cloud is
down. |
