How accessible: |
Very difficult.
This fold is well away from any normal routes. With the sheepfold being on a
small area of flat ground above an extremely steep section of fellside, the only
realistic approach is from the High Spy direction. It it possible to traverse
the fellside from the top of Tongue Gill, although this is in itself makes for a
precarious walk, crossing short sections of scree along the way. |
