How accessible: |
This area isn't exactly what you'd describe as
remote, but it is a very quiet part of the Lake District where you're unlikely
to see many other people; if any at all. If you're new to the area or your
navigation skills aren't up to scratch then this is an area to avoid when the
cloud is down.
After periods of rain this is a very boggy area. |
